We develop and produce individual acoustic products to measure and not to mass. The result is a perfect interplay of form and function.
We develop acoustic products that set design accents through high aesthetic standards and do justice to modern room design. More than 20 years of industry experience and acoustic know-how are incorporated into the development of our in-house manufactured products.
We have specialized in project and commercial construction for complex and creatively sophisticated concept developments according to customer requirements. We work closely with our customers from the initial consultation, through the planning and development of room acoustics, to the final implementation.

The apn® brand specializes in high-performance, individual room acoustics solutions in a modern, Nordic-clear design as well as in the all-encompassing planning and conception of new working environments. In our shipyard we combine design, development, acoustic engineering, planning, concept creation, production and assembly in the highest quality “Handmade in Northern Germany”.
We are a reliable partner for our clients in the fields of architecture, interior design, office furnishings and planning as well as for private clients in every phase of our work. Whether projects in education, offices, hotels and restaurants or industry, we are at our customers’ side. We offer our clients an all-round service, from in-depth consultation to measurement, planning, 3D visualization and design through to installation.

apn® Our history
The journey of our current apn® brand began in February 2009: Mirko Bruhn decided to set up his own business at the age of 33. What began as Akustik Planung Nord in Grube – a municipality in the district of Ostholstein in Schleswig-Holstein – is now home to two companies with over 30 employees. Without further ado, our company relocated to the port city of Neustadt in Holstein. This was a very important decision. In addition to new office space with a showroom, the vision of manufacturing our own acoustic products was quickly realized. Meanwhile, room acoustics solutions for ceilings, walls, rooms and furniture with and without lighting are developed and produced in various departments over an area of around 1,000 m2. Marketing, product development, commercial processes, production and assembly work are carried out by the company apn® acoustic solutions GmbH.
Since the foundation of apn® concepts & projects UG in 2018, we have been sailing towards the needs of the new worlds of work and learning. In view of the acoustic engineering expertise bundled there and the close cooperation with network partners including a portfolio of expert know-how from the fields of architecture, digitalization, craftsmanship and office equipment, planning tasks can now be taken on holistically.
Both sectors – the production of individual room acoustics solutions as well as holistic conceptual design and space planning – have been officially presented on the European market under the protected apn® brand since 2020.
